Just like the name suggests, Old Town has quite a history, and to this day is still a wildly popular, small-town, family friendly destination. Created in 1986 with the purpose of being an outdoor shopping mall/amusement center, Old Town is a nice change of pace from the busy Orlando theme parks. It is not something you will want to miss on your next trip to Orlando!

What is Old Town?

Old Town is just minutes away from other large attractions like Sea World, Universal Studios, and Disney World and yet could not be more different. Old town is much more simple, slower-paced, and made more for family strolls and date nights then for roller coasters and parades. It has over 70 stores and 18 acres of scenic walkways and brick-layered streets for you to enjoy, and get this; it’s absolutely free to get in!

Restaurants

This shopping district has over 21 restaurants and dining locations including American classics like burger joints and hispanic food, as well as higher end locations like Monty’s Antojito’s and Mr. Sushi

Shopping

With over 40 individual shops and services ranging from gift stores to spas, Old Town is sure to offer one of the best shopping experiences in Orlando.

Amusements and Rides

Magic Showroom

Let’s be honest, we all like a good magic trick. Thankfully, Old Town’s “Great Magic Hall” performs daily magic shows with professional magicians that may have a thing or two up their sleeve.
